Well, it went off ok, didn't it? Nobody got mashed into the front of barmy bus or a crazy Lorry driven by a man who puts his fate fully in the hands of his God as soon as he lets his clutch pedal up every day. None of us got to sit on the lav until our anus was hanging out like red sock, so, another success for you. And, as far as I know, no one has had to place themselves into the loving care of the NHS's respiratory departments, having gulped more than our fair share of incompletely combusted low grade diesel oil during our urban perambulations on those lovely Enfields. Another thumbs up!
So, no downside to a fine warm biking break away from the weather in our own soggy and damp country. All good. Therefore thank you to you, Niaz and your ever helpful assistants in making our tour so interesting and agreeable. It was fun, we survived and we had more than a laugh or two and not just at your excellent sartorial Roboknob outfit which I have to say, suited you very well. Our Style Warrior!
Thanks again and good luck in the future in your pursuit of your next fortune. Spend it well when you get it, and keep most of it (if possible)away from your lungs and nose. Have a long and happy life making others happy too. I am sure you will.
Kind regards
Ross

We are at our hotel and all went fine. Niaz dropped us off as arranged and the ferry left 10 mins later.
Now I just need some ice cold beers!
The bike was great and we really enjoyed the riding. The only pain was the ride out to Munnar due to the amount of traffic and the interesting driving of other road users (only saw 3 accidents on the way up!)
Anyway, thanks again and if anyone I know wants to come and do a bike trip I will recommend you.
Best,

"The rental Royal Enfield Desert Storm from Daniel went without any problem. I can really recommend this company. The bike was ready for collection as arranged and was as new. I am sure I will be returning to Daniel & Niaz in the future for a second tour of South India.
Make sure you reserve the bike from Daniel well in advance. I went for electric start, left hand gear change and disc brake and the bike was perfect. So much fun to ride on Indian roads - fulfilled a dream.

Just to say thank you for everything – Moty performed faultlessly and allowed me to concentrate on the scenery or more importantly, the homicidal traffic. I had a fabulous time and will come back again. My poor brother is deeply envious....

Hi,
Just wanted to say thank you. We had a great time,
Niaz was very helpful, informative and it was nice to know he would have been there if we needed him.
Bikes were very well maintained, a credit to your mechanics,
they went a treat and were good ole beasts
(I wished I were a stone or 2 heavier for the initial kick start in a morning occassionally,
but that was my failing!). Their horns were great too....and didn't wear out!
All in all we had a great time, amazed that nothing went wrong, and it all couldn't have gone better.
I'm going to write a little article for Horizons Unlimited's web site
so will copy you that when I've got round to it.
Thanks again

Hi Daniel,
Just a quick note to say thanks for the good service
& the top notch bike you sent down.
Niaz was very helpful aswell.
Apart from a few mishaps hitting the gears instead of brakes,
with the old 350cc having it on the opposite side & some problems
getting up & down the gears sometimes, the old girl didnt miss a
beat. She was a joy to ride & people definately heard her coming.
Great roar.
I covered a fair few Km's in 8 days & the bike responded great,
was well looked after.
thanks again & i will recommend you & hopefully use
your bikes again on my next trip to India.

Hello Daniel,
Hope your last trip went well. I bet it wasn't a patch on the one you did for us. As soon as we can afford it we would love to do another - life has never seemed the same since we got back. Have an excellent Christmas and give our best wishes to Naiaz.

Having recently surfaced from the rigours of the return flight, I felt I could not resume 'normal' life without writing to you in appreciation of a really great holiday. The organisation was faultless, the accommodation ranged from superb to fantastic, the riding great fun Daniel, Niaz and the indomitable Ramesh all contributed to the best holiday I have had for a long time. Would you please convey my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to them all?
In short, a great experience, not just a holiday

It was so nice to meet you and I think I can speak for everyone on the trip that we all had a fantastic time. Please do thank Danny, Niez and Ramesh for making the holiday so perfect in every way. We have emailed H-C travel with our thanks and compliments. There is nothing about the trip I would have changed and it was above my expectations (even the bike seat!!). Hope your projects go well.
Love to Danny, Niez, Ramesh and yourself.

OK my life has dulled down to a dull roar now and I have found time to sort through some pics that may be of interest to you and the lads. I know I said it to you a few times, but I would like to say once more. I had a fantastic time with you all and felt well and truly looked after.
You and the Lads were great, the bikes were great and obviously loved, the accom was great. The whole two weeks was just a fantastic adventure. You have opened my eyes to India and I would feel happy next year to hire a bike (our Janet) from you for a month, just ride off and see what happens. It will be the (Fuck the itinerary) sort of trip (Jan or Feb)
So Stay well and cheers for all the effort you put in mate.

Thanks very much for your help when we needed it Daniel, it was much appreciated and I think it would certainly be worthwhile coming back and tagging along on one of your tours through Kerala.
We had a fantastic experience overall, some days were more challenging than others! The bikes went very well, I was particulary impressed with how reliable they were as I have an old Triumph Bonneville, which while not ridden as often, is nowhere near as dependable as the two Enfields!
Cheers,
Robbie

Thanks for the suggested routes, we will definitely use one of them - most likely the new road until I can get my hands on a new tube and perhaps a spanner or two.
Also, we might give you a call as to whether you may know of good places to stay if the trusty Lonely Planet comes up short.
Will talk to you soon, thanks again.
Cheers,

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your advice this morning, the puncture is fixed and looks to be a reasonable repair - he didn't have a new inner tube.
Also, I understood exactly what you were talking about with the notches/washers on the rear spindle, so you explained it well!
Pretty simple yet effective set-up.
After talking with you about a route from Goa back to Kochi which includes some wildlife reserves and better roads than the coast option, Chris and I both thought that would be a great idea, as other than the mad traffic, our only major trouble has been estimating how long it will take to get from place to place with consideration of where we can stay.
I was wondering whether you might also be able to suggest a suitable route from Pondicherry to Goa, perhaps excluding Bangalore as it seems a fairly big ask to navigate through there. (Although I think perhaps paying a tuk tuk driver to lead us through may be a good option)
Any accommodation options you are aware of along the way would be a great help too.
Thanks again, I look forward to hearing from you. Talk soon.
Cheers,
Robert Cameron

hello Daniel, just a quick mail to say how much we appreciated the Royal Enfield 500s that we hired from you , We thoroughly enjoyed every minute we spent riding them and the hero worship from the locals when we rode into town , we felt proper Ewen Mc Greger & Charlie Borman !!!!! , The Bikes went wonderfully and never missed a beat , and so new we couldn't have wished for better , we were both glad to have the bikes for that extra week and felt quite deprived when we had to go back to auto rick shaws and other means of transport,. we had been quite spoilt , the riding was awesome as usual , just diving in and riding like an indian was great , as were some of the roads you advised us to ride, Naiz was very helpful indeed , and is a mine of information
