The
following "terms and conditions" are related to use of a motorcycle
owned by Bike Tours India 2000,Cochin.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
*
The user
shall be not less than 18 years of age.
*
The
user shall have a valid two wheeler /motorcycle driver's licence and an
international driver's licence.
*
The
user shall sign a completed Application From in acceptance of the terms
& Conditions, prior to use of
the
motorcycle.
* The user shall sign provide all necessary documents and deposits as
prescribed below.
DOCUMENTATION
Documentation should include the user's passport, a valid two wheeler
licence, a valid international driver's licence and adequate insurance
coverage for the duration of the tour.
These documents in original and photocopy of the motorcycle
registration papers, should be carried by the user at all times.
Photocopies of all the above documents and the original return
ticket/travel document shall be retained at our office.
DEPOSIT
A
mandatory deposit of US$500 has to be made by the bike user in
cash/traveler's cheque along with his/her original return ticket/travel
document for the period of use of the motorcycle. This deposit will be
reimbursed on the bike , after settling all damages ,if any.
INSURANCE
The
comprehensive motorcycle insurance for the Enfield Bullet limits
personal indemnity to the rider to Rs,20,000,00(approx.
€
425) for
each claim. All costs relating to injury and hospitalisation,and any
expenses subsequently arising such as tour extension, hotel booking
motorcycle transport costs are to be borne by the bike user and
his personal travel insurance.
Accident coverage available up to 100,000/-(€
2200 approx.) per rider
on payment of an additional Rs.225/-(€ 5 approx.)
THEFT
While the motorcycle is insured against theft, the personal luggage of
user is not. Every user is responsible for the safety of his/her own
luggage.
When the vehicle is stationary, the user should remember to take all the
keys with him and to lock the bike properly. At night the motorcycle is
to be kept within secure premises like a guarded hotel compound etc.
MAINTENANCE
The
bike users responsible for a daily functional check of the bike. The
user, is liable for any subsequent damage due to negligence to perform
daily oil, battery water and all other functional checks. Observed
defects or any kind of possible defects, should be reported to us
immediately.
A list of authorized service points will be provided to user, where the
user may the vehicle/motorcycle for service, if necessary.
FUEL POLICY & MILEAGE
The
motorcycle/vehicle shall be handed over to the user with full tank of
fuel .The user, in turn shall also return the motorcycle/vehicle with a
full tank and unlimited mileage policy also applicable in every and
charges applicable are only on a per day basis, irrespective of the
mileage.
TRAFFIC & DRIVING
Every rider is responsible for his/ her safe riding, the careful
handling of the vehicle for his or her on safety as well as that of
other drivers and pedestrians. The undersigned considers himself/her
self informed of Indian Traffic regulations as well as the actual
unorthodox traffic situations and the technical specifications of the
Enfield Bullet.
The user is also responsible for morally and monetarily for any loss for
damage caused to the vehicle, due to his/her rash or negligent handling.
The user shall ensure that he/she dose not ride under the influence of
alcohol or narcotics.
The user shall not use the vehicle to transport any banned, controlled
or prohibited goods/substance.
The user will be solely responsible for any illegal acts, violations or
road accidents involving the user.
All disputes will be subjected to the jurisdiction of the Courts at
Cochin.
Bike Tours India 2000 is not responsible for any
accidents, mishaps, violations or illegal acts involving the user. |
